Trailer Choice
The key choices to a trailer are obviously the dimensions and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. The number of axles plus the rating of the axles determines total weight (assuming the trailer steel is strong enough). My goal is to keep the weight of everything under 16,000 lbs (6350kg) so that I can use just two axles rated at 8,000 lb. For this to work, the fiberglass SIPs are a must since they are much lighter than the wood SIPs.
